Job Title: Associate - Engineering Technology (GMT Lab)

Job Location: Bangalore

 

Job Responsibilities:-

Product testing end-to-end from Initial measurement, operating the machine, till wear pattern measurements. Work for the complete activities like product testing, Green machining, KKC Demo, trainings, CRM testing, performed in the GMT lab. Majority of the work will be in the machines and measuring instruments.

 

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Operate and execute tasks on CNC milling / Turning machine as per the instruction of test Engineer.
  • Responsible for product testing end-to-end from Initial measurement, operating the machine, till wear pattern measurements.
  • Work for the complete activities like product testing, Green machining, KKC Demo, trainings, CRM testing, performed in the GMT lab
  • Reduce defects and produce tools Right First Time.
  • Should be able to run all the machines, operate all measuring instruments/ equipment in the lab as per the requirement.
  • Should be a good team player.
  • Support Quality/Manufacturing in testing and evaluation of tools.
  • Responsible for maintenance of the machine and measuring instruments.
  • Maintain records of Raw material stocks.

 

Education , Work Experience, Skills, Certificates:-

  • Diploma in Mechanical/Allied Engineering with 2 to 3 years of experience in programming and operating CNC machines.
  • Should have strong knowledge in Manual programming by using G codes & M Codes.
  • Cutting tool knowledge is required.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Basic GD & T
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Power point
  • Must be able to carry/lift up medium weight work piece/tools/Fixtures etc
  • Must be able to Stand, stoop and Walk while working in the machine.

 

Years of Relevant Work Experience Required:- 1-3 Years

 

Preferred Areas of Education, Certifications, and Skills:-

  • Diploma in Mechanical/Allied Engineering with 2 to 3 years of experience in programming and operating CNC milling, turning & Grinding machines.
