The Lead Analyst – IT Business solutions works with key IT and business stakeholders to identify strategically aligned business requirements and enhancement opportunities and to design optimal functional and technical solutions in the Microsoft Dynamics system landscape.
The lead analyst must be able to work with the business teams in understanding needs, working to elicit business and functional requirements from those needs, as well as understanding existing and available architecture in order to provide written functional designs, which adhere to standard practice and security policies. The appropriate considerations for other business units and regions must be considered, so a broad knowledge of system configuration and rules is vital.
The lead analyst will collaborate with other solution analysts, IT business partners, and delivery teams as required to provide guidance, solicit feedback and understand needs, to ensure alignment across the enterprise. They will be prepared to present architectural decisions, designs and proposals to the appropriate stakeholders, as well as be able to explain how business strategy alignment is satisfied.
The role is hands-on through the reviewing and testing of completed developments and working to support the development team in the understanding and development of completed designs.
There will be an expectation to manage a personal program of self-development, to continuously learn and gain greater understanding of new and existing tools and capabilities, as well as industry trends, through effective research, vendor engagement, networking with peers, user groups, conferences and formal training. This in turn will allow continuous improvement of sustainable solutions that improve engagement productivity, increase efficiencies, leverage emerging technologies, mitigate risks, resolve issues, and optimize our overall value proposition, and to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
