Responsibilities:

  • Configuration/Customization of ServiceNow ITSM modules including workflows and catalogs.
  • Support/Enhancements in CMDB, Discovery and Service Mapping modules
  • Developing test plans and deployment for ServiceNow version upgrades
  • Create and maintain requirement, technical and business process documentation
  • Learn and implement new modules as per business needs (Event management for example)
  • Support/Contribute for automation initiatives
  • Maintains and support ServiceNow operational functions
  • Monitor health, usage and overall compliance of the application
  • Receives specifications from the IT department and delivers a product/release that meets the needs and align with IT organization strategy.

Position Requirements

Requirements:

The candidate must possess hands-on experience with administration and customization of ServiceNow Application. Ability to take up challenges, adapt to the business needs, and stay focused on delivering results are essential to the success of this role. Solid experience with client scripting (JavaScript, HTML) is required.

  • 4-6 years of experience as a System Administrator and Developer of ServiceNow Application
  • Good experience in ServiceNow modules like Incidents, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Self Service Survey, SLA management
  • Good experience in CMDB, Discovery and Service Mapping
  • Exposure/working knowledge on Event management
  • Integration points between ITSM and ITOM
  • Very good in setting up and creating Service Catalogs
  • Experience in ServiceNow Performance Analytics Tool
  • Exposure in integrating ServiceNow to other systems (LDAP, Web Services, APIs)
  • Ability to effectively absorb information from various sources, then analyze and examine data in detail, and draw appropriate conclusions.
  • Use general office application tools (e.g. Power Point, Excel, Word, and Visio)
  • Any Bachelor’s degree

 

Added advantage with below topics:

  • Exposure to other modules in ServiceNow such as Asset Management, Project and Portfolio Management, Demand Management, etc
  • Experience using JavaScript or HTML, good knowledge of web design is added advantage
  • Experience in Visual Task Boards, Gauges, Reporting
