SENIOR SALES ENGINEER

WIDIA - Office in Home (Indonesia)

 

Job Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in any field of Engineering. Mechanical Engineering, preferred.

• Minimum 5 years’ sales engineering experience in cutting tool, manufacturing or machine tool industries.

• Main focused industries be in automobile, aerospace and general engineering in Indonesia.

• A hunter and a people manager role (an advantage).

• Competent in understanding and communicating all product and technical information

• Exhibit a high degree of customer focus

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows / Office environment

• Ability to travel within Indonesia predominantly in Great Jakarta and Bekasi area.

• Possess own transport

• Self-starter, should have an outgoing personality; with go getter attitude

• Good oral and written communication skills (both in Indonesian and English language), with very good presentation skills.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify conversion opportunities in targeted accounts by working closely with channel partners for sales growth

• Conduct product tests & trials of new products to show case cost reductions/productivity improvements using TPRs (Tool Performance Reports)

• Conduct technical seminars in customer premises, train field staff of distributors and internal staff

• Coordinate with global product marketing team for new products developments, new product launches & promotions

• Establish productive, professional relationships with key channel partner personnel and assigned channel partner accounts

• Coordinate the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet channel partner performance objectives and partners’ expectations

• Meet assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned channel partner accounts

• Proactively lead channel partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.

• Leads solution development efforts that best address end-user needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company and partner personnel
