Currently, our Industrial Business Group is looking for an enthusiastic Senior Sales Engineer who is willing to be based in the Philippines. This position works directly under the supervision of the Country Manager.

Most areas of responsibility are reviewed on a monthly basis and supported by weekly reports as well as face to face discussion by the supervisor. Targets are established on a yearly basis with quarterly review to ensure overall company’s targets/KPIs are met for the year. Potential candidate should be able to work independently and has the ability to drive the business growth. This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to progress and lead the business as a Sales Manager.
 

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have the Diploma or bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Preferably 5 - 10 years technical sales engineering work experience in metal cutting products and in technical manufacturing environment. (Can lower years of experience as long as can exhibit certain knowledge)
  • Competent in understanding and communicating all product and technical information.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Can work independently with minimum to no supervision
  • Willing to work and cover Northern to Southern Luzon, Philippines
  • Has the strong knowledge on the local market
  • Possess own transport and should be comfortable at usual travel
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Research prospective accounts in targeted markets, pursue leads and follow through to a successful agreement.
  • Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients in the short, mid and long term.
  • To achieve sales targets and other KPIs as defined by the management.
  • Responsible for the full sales cycle, from leads to on-going account relationships as appropriate.
  • Maintain relationships with current clients and identify new prospects within the area you have been assigned.
  • Expand sales to existing customers by identifying additional needs and developing appropriate sales strategy to meet their needs.
  • To create new leads through cold calling, networking and following up to successfully close the business.
  • Monitor customers and competitor activities in the market and report important customer and competitor information to the management.
  • Manage customer accounts payable and ensuring on- time collection.
  • Manage channel sales partners and identify white spaces and developing new partners.
  • Continuously improve current working knowledge of existing and new products and services.
