- Should have a Bachelors or Diploma in Mechanical or production engineering.

- Minimum of 5 years' experience application engineering experience in cutting tools or machine tools in the field of manufacturing (focused in Automotive and general engineering).

- Sound Knowledge in reading component drawings (automotive or general engineering)

- Sound Knowledge of manufacturing methods or process planning (automotive components)

- Sound knowledge of cutting tool selection process.

- Should have a Sound Knowledge of CNC Programming, Turning Centers and Machining Centers (Fanuc and Siemens Controller)

- Willingness and flexibility to extensively travel within Indonesia and other regions of South Asia on a need basis.  

- Passion and acumen for promoting KMT product to end users by training and marketing initiatives.

- Knowledge of fixtures, an advantage

- Knowledge of Quality control, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) , an advantage

- Cohesiveness and attitude to work as one team.

- Self-starter, should be an outgoing personality; with go getter attitude.

- Good oral and written communication skills (both in Indonesian and English language), with very good presentation skills.

- Conversant w/ Excel/PowerPoint/SAP, etc. and willingness to report out in a structured manner to the reporting management level


- Visiting customers on routine basis for testing and troubleshooting the tools as well to build a relationship with them, to strengthen the KMT core business.

- Increases sales with the presentation of solutions, which meets the needs of the customer.

- New business generation by implementing product Conversion, penetration and retention strategies

- Generate and follow-up inquiries from customers and submit tooling proposal 

- Recommend the best possible cutting tools to suit customer needs from the standards or custom portfolio and Conduct onsite trials

- Analyze and Troubleshooting tooling and process related issues. Support the customer with workable alternates.

- Create reports and report out to customers on savings and advantages of the products.

- Understand current running NC programs at customer site and propose optimized tool path or optimization solutions.

- Develop tooling and process concepts to suit customers’ needs as a competitive solution 

- Identifying process or productivity improvement opportunities at manufacturing setups and work towards fulfilling the commitment 

- Analyzes the machining process with the customers. Makes proposals of either standard or specials to increase productivity & Work with customers in optimization process (line balancing / tool path optimization/ fixture improvisation /Custom solution or standards etc.)

- Conducts effective and regular Product training to diverse audience.

- Creating Weekly and monthly reports and reporting out to immediate manager in a structured format.
