Tool & Die Maker/Tool Room Machinist Journeyman 

2nd Shift 3pm - 11pm, overtime

Flexibility to schedule on other shifts


Job Description:


This is a skilled trade position responsible for supporting and maintaining the building and all the equipment inside the Kennametal Manufacturing Plant.  The individual will be interacting along side with plant personnel and independently repairing and developing fixtures on a daily basis.   You will need to utilize problem solving skills, read blueprints, and CAM programs to complete tasks with a sustainable resolution.

Experience & Education 


The individual must have a High School diploma or GED.  Must have successfully completed training and be certified as a State of Ohio Journeyman Machinist or 7 years of experience in the Machining field. The ability to read, write and perform simple math calculations efficiently to handle all tasks.   This job requires frequent walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for periods up to 12 hours a day.  This individual must be flexible to work an off shift and overtime to support business needs. Participation in the Spill Response program.  The ability to understand instructions, follow plant processes and procedures, make own judgments, plan, coordinate and direct own work while multi-tasking and prioritizing efforts all while continuously improving daily.
