An excellent opportunity has become available to join Kennametal as a HR Shared Service Specialist. The HR Specialist is the first point of contact for the resolution of routine HR inquiries and requests.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to employee HR inquiries and maintaining employee data. The HR Shared Service Specialist will be accountable for delivering HR services within service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, Kennametal HR policies and, audit controls.

 

The HR Shared Services Specialist will form part of a successful team that ensures excellent service standards, efficient response to customer inquiries and high customer satisfaction. The HR Shared Services Center provides support for a wide variety of HR activities and, processes related to HR policies and administration.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Responsible for day to day support for key HR processes, policies and HR systems for employees and company stakeholders.
  • Responds to and works with the appropriate support teams to resolve HR related inquiries.
  • Maintains the accuracy and security of all HR-related files in accordance with statutory requirements and retention policy.
  • Manages data compliancy with primary focus on data integrity.
  • Processes leave management cases focusing on statutory requirements providing updates to internal and external resources where appropriate.
  • Coordinates onboarding activities for new hires.
  • Handles and makes necessary changes to time data and/or payroll data when necessary.
  • Ensures employee data such as job classification and, shift assignments are coded accurately in the system.
  • Coordinates creation and delivery of documents related to employee recognition and, service awards.
  • Provides superior customer service to both external and internal customers.
  • Prioritizes multiple projects in a time sensitive environment.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the HR Community that provide services to our employees and, deliver to the needs of the business.

 

Typical Education and work experience

 

  • Experience with HR administration and knowledge of statutory requirements.
  • Experience working with HR Systems and proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
  • Ability to surface issues and handle sensitive and confidential information in an efficient and professional manner.
  • A high level of diplomacy, tact, and judgment as well as an upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Superior organizational skills with a high quality of accuracy and attention to detail in both written and verbal communications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively collaborate across teams.
  • Must speak fluent German and have an excellent command of the English language.

 

Base Location

 

Office based in Poznan, Poland.
