An excellent opportunity has become available to join Kennametal as a Senior HR Shared Services Analyst. The Senior Analyst is responsible for providing performance analysis and making recommendations for operational changes, and improvements based on evaluation of HR data and trends.

 

The successful candidate will be instrumental in creating and maintaining documentation for work instructions and process flow charts. They will utilise a variety of HR tools and data to assist in monitoring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure performance of the Shared Service Centre is maintained.

 

This involves investigating/resolving issues and addressing root cause through to resolution, respond to compliance audit requests and, managing data analysis and integrity for the regional HR Shared Service Centre.

 

The Senior HR Shared Services Analyst will form part of a successful team that ensures excellent service standards, efficient response to customer inquiries and high customer satisfaction for our customers in Germany.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure data privacy controls are practiced for all reporting requests.
  • Produce ad hoc reports as required, often combining data from multiple sources to achieve desired results.
  • Conduct and continuously improve reporting to ensure reliability, validity and integrity of the data used in management reporting and analysis.
  • Meet with customers to gather report requirements to drive standards.
  • Ensure manual reports are stored and well-organized in secure SharePoint site.
  • Define, develop and maintain concise documentation for policies, work processes and report generation.
  • Collect, analyse, and prepare visual HR related information such as the preparation of scorecards and dashboards.
  • Deliver timely and accurate payroll services, ensuring that timelines are met per schedule and Finance and Audit requests are addressed promptly.
  • Support smooth transition of activities into the regional Centre; to include all HRSSC activities, governance of using HRSSC tools and transition of personnel files.
  • Perform root-cause analysis using performance data, identify performance gaps to define any issues and inform of operations improvements.
  • Suggest process improvements that can streamline and improve customer service.
  • Provide support to annual SOX testing and audits.
  • Keep service centre ticket system up to date and provide regular updates to team members on areas of concern.
  • Propose action plans to address open issues to ensure timely resolution of tickets.
  • Participate on project teams and requirements gathering and analysis for key HRSSC initiatives.
  • Monitor leading practices in shared-service delivery and recommend improvements in services delivery
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to both external and internal customers.

 

Typical Education and work experience

 

  • Experience developing and monitoring call centre metrics for operational performance results regarding quality, trends and overall performance.
  • Experience writing and generating reports. Previous experience with SuccessFactors is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with HR Systems and proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.
  • Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects, teams and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong organization, time and project management skills.
  • A high level of diplomacy, tact, and judgment as well as an upbeat and positive attitude.
  • Superior organizational skills with a high quality of accuracy and attention to detail in both written and verbal communications.
  • Must speak fluent German and have an excellent command of the English language.

 

Base Location

 

Office based in Poznan, Poland with up to 10% international travel.
