Sales Engineer - North-West Africa

 

 

In your new role as a Sales Engineer, you are responsible for serving the needs of our North-West African customers. Based in France you serve and develop our base of existing customers, Distribution Partners and win new accounts.

As a seasoned and self-driven sales professional, you are ideally skilled in the technical aspects of the Earthwork-Industry and used to negotiate with decision makers on all levels. As a natural networker you enjoy being in contact with your customers and offer them the best solution to their projects.

Your tasks:

  • Expand and develop business with our existing customer base in France but mainly Northwest Africa
  • Prepare forecasts and sales plans for designated territories and execute them according to goals
  • Acquire new business negotiating with distributors and end users.
  • Supervise field tests / Tool tests and recommend the tool selection based on customer request or test results
  • Co-ordinate technical enquiries between Sales office and Customer
  • Contact potential and established customers to promote, sell and service Kennametal products in a designed sales territory.

 

 

Your profile:

  • Engineer with appropriate professional experience in a sales position
  • Experience or a personal network in the Earthworks industry are a high asset
  • Fluent French and very good English is mandatory – Arabic is a big plus
  • Good user knowledge of MS Office and a CRM – system is required
  • Willing to travel into North-West Africa is mandatory
