Responsibilities:
This position will support all Kennametal China facilities on following:

  • Making sure the LANs is turned to optimum performance, delivering required information to end-users, and interacting properly with WANs;
  • Support the end users in technical problems they may encounter in the operation of software, hardware, operating systems, e-mail, etc.;
  • Maintains the efficient operation of all automated office processes by implementing technical applications and advising on hardware and software purchases.
  • Oversee the maintenance of both the LANs and the WANs of all facilities, and monitoring the network performance.   Perform network backup according to regular schedule. 
  • Assist in presenting to management recommendations related to purchasing and installing hardware, software, and telecommunications equipments.
  • Translates client requirements into specified project briefs, identifies options for potential solutions and assesses them for both technical and business suitability.
  • Maintains procedures manuals, keeps up to date documentation of applications, systems and network equipment.
  • Manage the deployment of appropriate security patches, hot fixes and software updates, manages the licenses of all operating system related software

 

Qualification:

  • Ability to evaluate critical systems, prioritize work, and determine solutions;
  • Ability to interpret and apply laws, regulations and policies;
  • A working knowledge of these technologies: Microsoft Office, Windows server and client versions and related utilities; Office365, Sharepoint and collaboration tools; SAP; networking technologies including Cisco router/switch,  ethernet and wireless networking and related protocols; VPN remote access;  multimedia cellular phones and other mobile communication tools; Hardware installation and support ; system security technique, Internet and Web technologies. 
  • Ability to read and interpret complex technical publications and documentation;
  • A broad knowledge of data flow, interactions of systems, and capabilities and limitations of systems software and computer equipment ;
  • Significant knowledge or background in integrated online systems, LANs/WANs, telecommunications network, and application softwares;
  • Ability to work efficiency with staff, vendors and within cross-functional teams in global organization. 
  • Strong knowledge with ITIL process ,ITIL foundation certification preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science,  management of information system or a related degree, or equivalent education and at least 5 years work experience in multinational company
  • Cisco Certification Engineer (CCNP)
