The Machine Maintenance Technician will support the Maintenance Department in continual process improvements, and to increase machine uptime in a large modern machine shop. This is a multi-craft technician role.

 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to understand and follow operating procedures and best practices.
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills, able to participate in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of various automatic control systems, processes and methodologies in a manufacturing environment; ability to design, implement and maintain automatic production systems/processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Experience in a CNC machining environment.
  • Ability to safely work on and diagnose electrical issues (110-480v).
  • Knowledge and ability to identify replacement parts.
  • Knowledge of plumbing, pipefitting, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize and resolve technical (mechanical, electrical, systems or operational) problems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Preferred knowledge in Siemens, Fanuc, Allen Bradley, Seiko, Hitachi, Haas, HEIDENHAIN, Mazatrol controls.
  • Knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP, Maximo, FIXX, etc.)
  • Knowledge and ability of rigging equipment and components.
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow schematics.
  • Strong desire to learn.
     

Wage: $27.50-31.00/hour
