Job Summary


Provide front line support for Internal/inside sales, customer order entry, order expediting, quoting, returns, complaint, price/availability. Manage all the customer request and be the conjunction between customer and Kennametal internal dept.


Key Job Responsibilities


3 – 6 Years of experience


List each key responsibilities in order of importance.

  • Support on internal/inside sales
  • Manage customer quote and order by standard procedure.
  • Providing the product availability, lead time, shipping information to external customers in the timely manner.
  • Track open order and keep close contact with plant planner to ensure on time delivery. Make the expedite and escalation for customer urgent order.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics staff to arrange on time shipment.
  • Manage Customer Complain in CRM system, arrange product repair, return/exchange.
  • Maintain the customer master data correctly.
  • Compile data and prepare reports in standard format.


Preferred Areas of Education, Certifications, and Skills:

  • B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Engineering
  • At least fluent in two languages (English & Kannada/Hindi/Tamil)
  • Must have Internal/Inside sales experience.
  • Basic commercial knowledge including pricing, finance, shipping, and export/import.
  • Basic mechanical technical knowledge is a plus (not compulsory)
  • 3 – 6 years related working experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
  • Must have System processing experience of SAP & CRM.
  • Good communication skill
