Job Title: Analyst Application Delivery/ SAP PP & QM

Location: Bengaluru

Job Summary:

Kennametal is looking for Analyst Application Delivery for SAP modules, who will help drive the success of key Kennametal manufacturing processes and modernization initiatives. This individual will be part of the IT Application Delivery team that supports business with the SAP & integrated applications for manufacturing & supply chain.

Primary Responsibilities

• Work on global implementation projects & change requests primarily in area of SAP PP & QM modules.
• Ensure integrated design, build, deployment, and operations of responsible applications. Ensure that dependencies are understood, managed, and communicated.
• Ensure business continuity through operational excellence of responsible apps. Work with internal teams and business partners to identify, classify, and prioritize customer issues.
• Understand and document process flows, integration points, forms, workflow requirements impacting areas of responsibilities and collaborate with team (process leads, vendors, solution integrators) to clarify vision, scope, and capabilities.
• Help SAP users in defining their needs and direct them to the corresponding modules & functionalities.
• Gather requirements from business partners and perform configurations of modules and or build customized application according to the business needs.
• Preparing Functional Spec for the development, build test scenarios for the business requirements and perform manual/automation testing.
• Integrate SAP with other systems as required.
• Identify potential areas of improvement in IT processes which can bring business benefits.

Knowledge and Skills

• Any bachelor’s degree with 4 - 6 years of SAP PP & QM implementation or support experience for discrete manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge in SAP production planning and quality management (PP/QM) and integration with SAP modules desirable.
• Ability to map business process to SAP functions.
• Experience in building custom FIORI apps for production & Quality processes.
• Strong understanding of overall business process for tooling industry.
• Business process knowledge related to manufacturing & supply chain.
• Strong knowledge on Microsoft apps like Excel, Access, OneNote & preferred knowledge on ServiceNow other SAP modules.
• Effective communication and presentation skills as well as a strong collaborator.
• Makes informed decisions using data analysis, integration, and constructive thinking.
