Job Summary

Describe the purpose of the job

 

Provide front line support for customer order entry, order expediting, quoting, returns, complaint, price/availability. Manage all the customer request and be the conjunction between customer and Kennametal internal dept.

 

Key Job Responsibilities

List each key responsibilities in order of importance

  • Manage customer quote and order by standard procedure
  • Providing the product availability, lead time, shipping information to external customers in the timely manner.
  • Track open order and keep close contact with plant planner to ensure on time delivery. Make the expedite and escalation for customer urgent order.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and logistics staff to arrange on time shipment
  • Manage Customer Complain in CRM system, arrange product repair, return/exchange
  • Maintain the customer master data correctly
  • Compile data and prepare reports in standard format

 

Years of Relevant Work Experience Required: 3-5 Years

Preferred Areas of Education, Certifications, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in BCOM or BSc/ Diploma in Engineering
  • At least fluent in two languages (English & Kannada/Hindi/Tamil)
  • Basic commercial knowledge including pricing, finance, shipping, and export/import.
  • Basic mechanical technical knowledge is a plus (not compulsory)
  • Min. 3-5 years related working experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
  • System processing experience of SAP & CRM is must
  • Good communication skill
