JOB DESCRIPTION OF SHIFT ENGINEER - PLANT ENGINEERING 

• Shift Management involving complete plant utilities management.
• Able to work in shifts

COMPLIANCE 

• knowledge of the qualification in accordance with Compliance/CEIG for DG & Substation operations with electrical Supervisor permit is preferred or can be obtained later

EHS

• Ensuring safety of self, Team & contractors on the site, knowledge on Environmental requirements
• Maintenance system – Well versatile with PM, Breakdown Maintenance, Predictive maintenance, energy conservation systems.

UTILITIES MANAGEMENT

• Hands on experience in   66/11 kv Receiving station & Distribution Substations, LT DG synchronizing & operations.
• Electrical Maintenance of transformer, Switch gears, Feeders maintenance, Distribution system etc.
• Operations of Gases like Hydrogen, Argon, Nitrogen etc are preferred
• UPS maintenance, Air compressors maintenance, Dust collectors, HVAC maintenance,
• Knowledge on trouble shooting of PLC, VFD, Hard wired logic system. Water pumping system, Adiabatic coolers
• Material handling equipment, Fire safety systems, Knowledge on ETP/STP, fire hydrant system
• Support to Projects inclusive of MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) works, knowledge on basic civil repairs

AMC

• Ensuring AMC services are availed in time and effectively.

Education

Diploma in Electrical & Electronics with minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience
