Job Title: Analyst Network Delivery

Job Location: Bangalore

 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

Network Security:

  • Maintain firewall infrastructure, including firewalls, VPN gateways, and related security appliances.
  • Develop and enforce firewall policies, rules, and access control lists based on industry best practices and organizational security requirements.
  • Conduct periodic firewall audits to ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve firewall-related issues and connectivity problems.
  • Perform regular firewall software upgrades and patch management to maintain system stability and security.
  • Document firewall configurations, policies, and procedures for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Provide support and guidance to other IT teams and end-users regarding firewall-related inquiries and issues.

 

Network Operations:

  • Troubleshooting severity 1 & 2 Issues in the devices.
  • Provide support to Network hardware/software/configuration as assigned by     
  • Monitoring Team – Timely closure of incidents. Quality of resolution notes
  • Keep customer satisfaction high.
  • Reduce user downtime.
  • Analyze chronic problems.
  • Provide Industry best practices and Standards.
  • Maintain the hardware Inventory Update to date.
  • Provide specialized hardware / software / network problem diagnosis / resolution.
  • Route physical problems to onsite hands and feet support staff
  • Coordinate H/W Maintenance activity with 3rd Party for hardware installation, troubleshooting and fixing hardware issues.
  • Upgrades based on new technology/New deployments.
  • Create Standard Operating Procedure (SOP’s)
  • Network Capacity Planning
  • Packet Capture Analysis

 

Device Knowledge: Cisco Routers/Switches/PaloAlto/Citrix Load balancers

Project Competencies and Behavioral Competencies:

  • Resolve technical issues & ensure smooth operation Maintaining client SLA.
  • Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders.

Certification expected:  Knowledge of CCNA and CCNP is highly desirable.
