Job Title: Analyst Sales Support Pricing


Job Location: Bangalore


Job Summary:


  • Support strategies and provide recommendations in support of Enterprise initiatives relating to customer Conversion, Penetration, Retention, profitability analysis.
  • Develop and manage key pricing processes within legal and ethical limitations.



Key Job Responsibilities


  • Perform mostly routine tasks and projects
  • Prepare standard reports and assist in more complex analysis
  • Operate systems and use technology within learned field
  • Assist in more complex projects



Key Position Accountabilities


  • Analyze sales and margin data to determine how a price change or implementation will affect the division’s market share and profitability
  • Interface with Product Marketing relative to establishing and implementing product pricing strategies
  • Identify opportunities for sales and margin improvement through analysis and eliciting input from sales and marketing for corrective actions



Knowledge & Skills


  • Basic professional knowledge. Applies knowledge, skills, policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.



Financial/Business Accountability


  • Completes staff work in assigned area.
  • Contributory to department's financial goals as defined in work tasks





  • May provide input in creation of execution plans to supply strategy. Primarily executes tasks in support of department goals.





  • Interaction is generally limited to co-workers in the department or function; interaction may be with other departments when job provides services to those Interacts with customers/suppliers to achieve position's objectives



Decision Making


  • Works under clear objectives, within defined procedures and processes. Has some discretion regarding work methods



Typical Education or Equivalent Work Experience


  • High school, 4 -year secondary degree preferred.
  • 1 - 3 years experience in functional area.
