About the Role
The position requires the incumbent to provide support to various Kennametal Systems and internal customer requests within the set established procedures and guidelines thereby supporting both Kennametal global and local locations.
Job Description - Requirements
This position’s primarily responsibility is the administration of the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and perform application deployment, patch deployment, Reporting and O.S Deployment activities.
Education & Relevant Experience (in brief):
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer or Information Sciences.
- Overall IT experience of 5-7 yrs. with a minimum experience of 4-6 years in in SCCM.
- In-dept experience in SCCM, Building SQL Reports, PowerShell Scripting or VB Scripting.

Desired skills and experience:
- In-depth and extensive experience in the implementation, administration and configuration of SCCM Enterprise environment.
- Experience in deploying operating system images, S/W applications, windows updates using SCCM.
- Experience in major Microsoft technologies like server operating systems, Active Directory, SharePoint and SQL Server is a plus.
- Good Knowledge on Bitlocker and MS Defender
- Experience in creating documentation. Audiences can vary between technical and non-technical users and management.
- Demonstrate sound judgment and ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision and direction is required in order to perform professional and organizational responsibilities.
- Experience working in ITIL and Project Management Processes.
- Excellent Oral and Communication skills to interact and work with global IT teams & end customers.
- This position will involve working in rotational shifts.
