Job Title: Analyst System Administration/SCCM & Intune Admin

Job Location: Bangalore

 

Job Description:

This position’s primarily responsibility is the administration of the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Intune and perform application deployment, patch deployment, Reporting and O.S Deployment activities.

 

Education & Relevant Experience (in brief):

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer or information Sciences.
  • Overall IT experience of 5+ yrs. with a minimum experience of 4 years in SCCM & Intune
  • In-dept experience in SCCM & Intune, Building SQL Reports, PowerShell Scripting or VB Scripting.

 

Required Certifications:

  • Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
  • Intune Certification

 

Required Experience / Skill Sets:

  • 5+ years of experience in endpoint administration.
  • In-depth and extensive experience in the implementation, administration, and configuration of endpoint management tools – SCCM & Intune
  • Experience with Autopilot & OSD
  • Experience and strong understanding of security protocols and best practices for endpoint security.
  • Intermediate scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Batch, Bash, Python)
  • Experience in major Microsoft technologies like server operating systems, Active Directory, SharePoint, and SQL Server is a plus, Windows and macOS scripting languages
  • Good Knowledge on BitLocker and MS Defender
  • Experience in creating documentation. Audiences can vary between technical and non-technical users and management.
  • Excellent Oral and Communication skills to interact and work with global IT teams & end customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day administration and support of SCCM & Intune environment to ensure stability, integrity, and business continuity.
  • Endpoint Management: Lead the design, configuration, deployment, and ongoing management of endpoint devices and related infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and compliance.
  • Provide advanced endpoint system administration and support in a heterogeneous environment (Windows OS, Mac OS, Virtual Environments) with a high focus on endpoint security; software provisioning; patch management; endpoint lifecycle; service automation; and usability.
  • Routine activities like, SCCM Infra Management, implementation and/or migration of any new additional site servers, Performing routine maintenance activities, old package cleanup, backups etc and monitoring /maintaining SCCM site servers and client health.
  • Administer SCCM software delivery, including various methods such as running advertised programs, machine targeted, user targeted, Application Library, and Software Center.
  • Prepare site system roles for OS deployments with Configuration Manager.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies, protocols, and best practices to protect endpoint devices from security threats. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical support for endpoint-related issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems.
  • Endpoint Optimization: Proactively identify opportunities for improving endpoint performance, user experience, and operational efficiency. Develop and implement optimization strategies.
  • Endpoint Software Deployment: Manage software deployment, updates, and patch management for endpoint devices. Maintain an inventory of software licenses and ensure compliance.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of endpoint configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Strong knowledge of the end-to-end process of OSD and be capable of configuring SCCM OSD in a dynamic manner that can create flexibility in the deployment process.
