Role: Shop floor supervisor Manufacturing _PU3.

Job Profile:

We are looking for a 5-8 years experienced Production Supervisor to oversee production operation of machining plant. You’ll guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows.

In a fast paced environment like production, the supervisor is an integral part of the manufacturing process. They must be competent and comprehend complex operations. You should also be able to optimize day-to-day activities while minimizing the costs.

The goal is to ensure safe working environment that production processes deliver products of maximum quality in a profitable manner.

Responsibilities:

1.           Enforce strict safety guidelines and company standards.

2.           Setting daily/Weekly /monthly objectives and communicate them to employees.

3.           Organize work flow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules.

4.           Overseeing and coach employees in shopfloor to improve the culture.

5.           Ensure safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.

6.           Train new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures.

7.           Submit reports on performance and progress related to man and machine. Example,: OEE, Scrap, Employee skill management, shipment.

8.           Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements.

9.           Achieve KPI’S related to Safety, quality, Delivery, cost and People.

10.         Able to handle & run the machine in case of problem solving and demonstrate to the operator.

11.         Know about the Inspection measuring system and able to inspect and clear the part for production running.

Qualification and Skills: 

1.           Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Diploma tool and die making related field required

2.           Proven experience as Production Supervisor or similar role for minimum 3-5 years.

3.           Must have hands on Experience on conventional and CNC/conventional grinding ,EDM, special process like shrink fit, brazing.

4.           Must have good understanding related to GD&T.

5.           Must have working knowledge in one of the scheduling software, working in SAP will be an added advantage.

6.           Must have experience of scheduling of machine, production planning and process.

7.           Advanced skills in MS Office
