Manager Product Design


1)Independently owning  product, Contineous updation of existing machines 
2)New product development : New machines and features-Grinding machines
3)Assisting other team members in all design activities, documentation & data generation in PDM.
4)Selection of standard assemblies & bought out parts.
5)Designing  different machine elements & small assemblies.
6)Design of Hydraulic, Pneumatic & Coolant circuits.
7)Cost estimation of new components and budget adherence


Key Job Responsibilities


1)Contineous improvement and engineering change management  of existing machines (CNC Grinding machines)
2)Designing of new add on features  & New machines
3)Preparation of Conceptual and Final layouts
4)All project related engineering calculations.
5)Drawing revisions/Alterations. 
6)ISO document preparation.
7)Part list preparation. 
8)PDM activities.
9)Interaction with suppliers / vendors, Other functions and  customers
10) Preparation & adherence of  project schedule 


Skills & Certificates


A)Hands on experience  in CNC machine tool design - preferably HMC's,VMC's and Grinding machines
B)Good knowledge about  - Structures, Mechanisms, Slides, spindles, Rotary tables, ball screws, bearings etc.
C)Basic engineering calculations required for machine design.  
D)Knowledge of  manufacturing & assembly process is preferred
E)Good interpretation of engineering drawings with GD&T
F)Knowledge of different materials, heat treatment  and  finishing process.
G)Knowledge of  hydraulic, coolant & pneumatic circuits 
H)Knowledge of  6 sigma tools -DFMA, VE etc.. is added advantage 
H)Proficient in AutoCAD & Solid works software's.
I)Good communication and relationship building skills .
F)Basic knowledge of FEA  tools-Ansys..etc
