Job Summary


To spearhead the marketing department of one of the growing businesses of Kennametal India Limited and support the business by enhancing brand visibility, increasing market penetration for existing and new products into target geographies and generating business opportunities by leveraging both digital and non-digital marketing platforms.


Key Job Responsibilities 


  • Developing comprehensive content package – Acquire thorough understanding of the new positioning and identity of the brand and implement the same across all existing and future customer touchpoints (brochures, video, social media content, exhibition booths, ads, technical articles etc.)
  • Devise and implement digital marketing strategy for the business – defining objectives, identifying channels, target audience, developing a content plan and measuring ROI. Manage various digital platforms of the company to ensure relevant and up to date content – website (SEO, enquiry management, maintenance, content), blog and social media channels (content, campaign, and lead tracking)
  • Develop and execute customized marcom plan for target geographies outside India in coordination with respective regional teams that would include marketing collateral including regional translations (where required), digital activities, events etc.
  • Segment wise marketing and portfolio positioning – developing marketing package (brochures, emailer, videos) for focus sectors. Focus on developing comprehensive marketing programs for identified products to increase sales and market share.
  • Support business with market intelligence data from various primary and secondary sources and develop periodic reports that would help the business in increase market reach and share
  • Manage strong relationship with external vendors to develop high quality content and collateral at optimum cost, implement tools to measure communication effectiveness
  • Prepare and implement event and media plan for the business by identifying relevant exhibitions, industry forums, magazines and enabling the company’s participation
  • Event/ exhibition management with internal and external stakeholders
  • Work closely with other members of the Corporate Marketing team to drive specific employee engagement activities for the business
