Job Title:- Product Manager Marketing

Location:- Bangalore

Job Description:

  • He / She should set and deliver a strategic Roadmap & Product Vision that supports and aligns with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Responsible for delivering a differentiated product value that addresses a market need and represents a viable business opportunity.
  • Drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, product launch, etc.,
  • Develop business case, ROI plan for new products, and improvements needed to the existing products to ensure profitable growth. Translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development through support functions.
  • Indigenization, Product moves, “Make Vs Buy” Decisions. Appraise new product ideas and strategize appropriate to-market plans.
  • Product – Market Segmentation.
  • Market Research, VOC & Competitive Analysis.
  • Product Positioning, Launch, Promotions & Pricing Strategies.
  • Conduct the Spring and Fall launch product training for the entire team.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Marketing and Sales teams on developing and leveraging resources to ensure objectives are met for the organization's overall success.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • The Incumbent should hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering. Post-graduation in Business Administration will be an added advantage.
  • He should have a minimum of 7 to 8 years of experience in Cutting tools, the Industrial consumables market, the Machine tool Industry, etc.; knowledge about the cutting tools market and application knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • 7+ years of experience in Product Management/Product Planning or Product Development, preferably in a multi-national company.
  • Has experienced the complexity of managing the end-to-end product development and life cycle management process.
  • Highly customer-obsessed thinking with a deep understanding of customer needs and aspirations.
  • Strong logical thinking capabilities and analytical skills are desired.
  • Knowledge about metal-cutting customer needs in Automotive, Energy, General Engineering and Aerospace end markets is essential.
  • He should be willing to travel and meet customers in various geographic locations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills are critical for this position.
