Manufacturing Controller

The Manufacturing Controller is a key leadership position providing expertise and business support across all the production units for Kennametal India limited. This position is expected to guide and support the plant managers in taking appropriate decisions related to manufacturing finance. The position would be reporting to the KIL CFO and will work closely with the Regional/Global Manufacturing Finance leads.

Responsibilities

• Provide value added analysis and business support for Kennametal India’s manufacturing operations.
• Key business partner for manufacturing team.
• Key interface for India manufacturing head, India CFO and global manufacturing finance lead.
• Effectively analyze, communicate, and drive initiatives.
• Conduct planning, forecasting and analysis for manufacturing operations in India.
• Drive efficient processes to reduce variances and risk management.
• Lead/support special projects as necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements 

• CA/ ICWA. 
• 8+ years prior experience in finance, costing and audit.
• Knowledge of SAP /Oracle Financials.
• Technical accounting expertise; US GAAP experience 
• Manufacturing experience - preferable
• Excellent analytics and communication skills
• Team player with the ability to influence colleagues and customers at all levels.
• English fluency - written and spoken.
• Presentation skills
• Attention to detail.
• To be based in Bangalore
