Job Summary:

Will support the development of new concepts in Supply Chain and designs for new or existing value streams, as well as optimizing and further developing existing processes. Particular focus on integration of planning systems with manufacturing such that requirements from global SOP processes are clearly visible to internal manufacturing plants and vendors to facilitate a schedule that meets the global customer needs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Takes direction from the manager of Sales & Operations Planning, supporting the transformation of the Supply Chain and influencing the supply chain related strategies of the assigned businesses and markets by working closely with material managers and plant manager as well as other key stakeholders

  • Will be supporting implementation of global solutions and also providing feedback on potential improvements.

  • Development of reports and tools to support process changes.

  • Will monitor compliance of users to process changes through reports and regular forums.

  • Examples of evidence of success in this role are reduced end to end cycle time, increased inventory turns and meeting or exceeding customer on time delivery.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5 + years of related experience in development and implementation of lean global E2E supply chains in a small batch manufacturing centric business

  • 4+ years experience with Sap and planning systems (Kinaxis certified expert or comparable technical understanding of planning solutions (material masters, routings, BOMs, forecasting, configuration of settings around MRP)

  • Possesses strong working knowledge of Supply Chain Management, including the underlying theories and concepts.

  • (Understanding of supply chain KPIs including service, inventory, lead times, etc. and the tradeoffs amongst them)

  • Strong understanding of E2E production cycles, ideally has worked in manufacturing.

  • Has experience of SQL (data modeling) and Power Bi reporting tools.

  • Collaborate with plants to implement standard solutions  and train on best practices.

  • Good written documentation skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Ability to work independently to identify issues, take ownership and drive a solution

 

Educational Requirements: Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
