Job Title: Sales Engineer – Key Account Specialist

Location: Thailand



This position works directly under the supervision of the Sales Manager Thailand. Join our growing team in Kennametal as a Sales Engineer – Key Account Specialist to be based in Thailand 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage established End user and Channel Sales Partner relationships.
  • Expand sales in existing customers and distribution partners while actively looking for new customer generation.
  • Maintains intense market knowledge of competitors and market gaps.
  • Provide technical expertise on products (e.g., product lifecycle obsolescence), customer programs (e.g., product upgrades) and customer cost savings initiatives
  • Achieve sales targets and other KPIs as defined by the management.
  • Visit End users and distribution partners time to time.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, Networking events and follow-ups to successfully close the business.
  • Continuously improve current working knowledge of existing and new products and services.
  • Any other duties as assigned by the management.


Knowledge And Experience:

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
  • 5- 8 years’ experience of Industrial Sales. Experience of Metal cutting tools or CNC Machines is added advantage.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows / Office environment.
  • Good in English spoken & written skills
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Learning agility, Ability to understand technical products, systems, and solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, the ability to work with different functions.
  • Possess own transport.
  • Ability to assess customer needs competently.
