Position Title: HR Specialist
Location: Fort Mill, SC or Latrobe, PA


Position Purpose/Objective: 

The HR Generalist responsible for supporting the Americas region.  The Specialist will provide support internally to our Team Members, Supervisors/Managers and local HR Business Partners within the US, Canada and Latin America by addressing inquiries via phone, email and other methods.  The HR Shared Services Specialist troubleshoots customer issues to identify the root cause and determine a solution for items related to payroll, time and attendance, benefit administration, HR system support, and general workforce administration within set service level agreements (SLAs).


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer questions, concerns and issues via phone, email and other methods as it pertains to Time & Payroll Administration; Workforce Administration; Benefit Administration; and other general HR related topics.
  • Time & Payroll Administration:  Assist with the processing of bi-weekly; semi-monthly and monthly payrolls by investigating time card and payroll issues to resolution; assist with data updates through workflow approvals and data entry as needed; and create ad hoc payroll reports as needed
  • Workforce Administration:  Process workflow approvals through SuccessFactors (HR System of Record); provide system guidance to customers regarding Employee and Manager Self Service issues; coordinate the employee life cycle from new hire to separation through data entry; system access; and file maintenance; and creation
  • Benefit Administration:  Handle benefit inquires and complaints to ensure quick, equitable, courteous resolution through escalation with third party vendor; act as leave coordinator through data entry; reporting; and communication; assist with benefit entry and reporting as needed
  • Collaborate with Field HR Business Partners to work on process/policy standardization, compliance and other projects as needed
  • Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (i.e Total Rewards and Talent Development) to support initiatives and administer programs


Education Required:

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent with 4-6 years of relevant experience
  • Four Year Degree (preferred) with 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Other (include certifications and/or professional credentials): PHR certification a plus


Skills / Experience Required: 

  • Relevant HR Operations Experience
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Superior attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a highly dynamic environment
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with case management systems preferred
  • Experience with ADP eTime or Kronos preferred
  • Experience with ADP Globalview preferred
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
