Training Program Manager EMEA


As a Training Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing, managing and executing strategic technical training in the metal cutting field. Trainings are supposed to improve application- and product knowledge for our customers, distributors and employees with the main intention that a deep knowledge on application and our product portfolio will lead to sales growths. Trainings may be conducted in Kennametal  facilities, on customer premises.  The job owner has also the responsibility to develop and execute on-line events and webinars to reach brought audience (EMEA and global).


Key Job Responsibilities

  • Project management, design, developing, promoting, implementing and carry out of training programs with content and presenters in line with Kennametal’s Strategy (New Products, focused components and applications),
  • Follow up with sales functions and customers around participation and lead management (CRM connection)
  • Program suitable for on-site and on-line sessions, select and handle on-line programs for webinars, develop and maintain training calendar 



  • Bachelor/Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent background.
  • Minimum 5 years experience with training in relevant industrial environment.
  • Deep metal cutting product and application knowledge.
  • Talent for design, developing and presenting training modules
  • Fluent German and English language.
  • Ability to inspire around our products and services,
  • Experienced with customer base, affinity in new technology (engineering, software)
  • Solid Product Know How and Sales skills
  • Excellent knowledge of market, market trends and competition
  • Team player & Self-starter
  • Structured and analytical style of working
  • Advanced IT skills (MS Office, SAP, CRM)
