AEM Digital Content Lead 

Location - Remote Work From Home anywhere in US


 Job Description

The AEM Digital Content Lead will take the requirements and vision of a particular team and actualize it in the digital space. He or she must also hold those teams accountable to web publishing and content standards. But first and foremost, the AEM Digital Content Lead must understand the unique needs of their target audience.  The AEM Digital Content Lead will work with stakeholders to align on vision and purpose of digital content and make it a reality. He or she will own the publishing standards for modular content strategy, template structure while adhering to all UX and optimization best practices. You will also use empathy for target personas to ensure effective organization of content is accessible and effective. The AEM Digital Content Lead  will also leverage content fragments, messaging framework and teasers to help influencers make buying decisions. You will constantly be looking for improvements to content structure and placement to solve user’s problems while meeting business needs. Working closely with UX, conversion optimization and analytics leads to test, validate, and inform processes and strategies. You must be tactical in digital technologies while thinking like a sales or support person.


To be effective in this role, you must be proficient in graphic design, as well as the crafter of killer content. The AEM Digital Content Lead  must have a strong eye for the most effective website design and a strong ear for well-written, SEO-driven content. They also must be amazing editors that squash grammatical errors before the content goes live. The AEM Digital Content Lead  job consists of writing copy for the web or editing content from other writers. It also includes corralling cross-departmental teams to receive their input on that copy, and it may include reaching out to customers or other focus groups to figure out what entices them to visit your site. Because websites should be living expressions of a company’s brand, website copy, including blogs and white papers, should be updated consistently. The AEM Digital Content Lead may monitor discussion posts on the blog. They may also manage comments from customers on social media.


Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years managing large, technical, multi-lingual digital content
  • Proficient in Adobe Experience Manager, including modular strategies in fragments is required
  • Must be familiar with basic HTML, CSS
  • Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch App, Figma or other creative tools
  • Must be able to analyze and extract insights from A/B tests and web analytics
  • Basic understanding of UX best practices
  • Strong abilities to research industries, products to ensure strong communication of value propositions that convert users to customers
  • Strong copy writing/editing skills for readability, flow and company voice while adhering to search engine optimization best practices
  • Must be self-organized, self-managed working in an agile environment
  • Project management experience a plus
