Customer Service Representative

An excellent opportunity has become available to join Kennametal as a Customer Service Representative in our offices in Istanbul.

The purpose of this position is to maintain the relationships with designated Customers according to the service quality and operations requirements to ensure Kennametal delivers its service level promise to its customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad variety of administrative and support related tasks that cover the entry and consequent management of customer orders in a timely and accurate manner. The ability to communicate in well in English combined with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are more important than prior work experiences.

 

 Responsibilities

  • Customer service communications by phones and emails
  • Quotation Management: serving customer’s quotations through preparation, sending and monitoring offers, invoicing for customers
  • Order Management
  • Complaint Management and returns, monitoring and ensuring service level agreements (SLA) with respect to the processing time of complaints
  • Analysing and solving problems connected with sales process
  • Responsibility for customer satisfaction in general and increasing customer satisfaction through defined actions
  • Cooperation with other internal departments such as the finance department and sales department
  • Digital document management and filing according to standard procedures
  • Carrying out other instructions of the supervisor

Typical Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Fluent Turkish, and excellent level of English (B2) are required
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and SAP is required
  • Ability to communicate well (Verbal and written) within the team and with customers
  • Previous experience in customer service is an advantage but not rquired.
