Job Title: Financial Analyst

Job Summary

The manufacturing portfolio Team is developing and utilizing formalized financial validation processes related to product placement, capacity & capability investment as well as and overall business health by portfolio (Inserts, Round Tools, and Steel).  This supports quicker, more transparent and data driven decision making resulting in better return on previous capital investment, more efficient use of existing capacity and identification of future business opportunities. One part of the job is related to ongoing improvement and maintenance of several tools that are already existing. Additional tools will need to be developed utilizing e.g. Power BI and our corporate data systems.

Another key task is to participate in major portfolio initiatives and support the financial validations during the feasibility and strategy project phases.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Financial validation (business cases) of manufacturing portfolio key initiatives in product move, footprint, process technology and plant optimization related projects
  • Development and maintenance of PowerBI based tools to dive data transparency
  • Development, documentation and training of validation methods and PowerBI reports to key stakeholders in Manufacturing, Portfolio and Technology
  • Ensuring that the methods used are in alignment with the Finance Team’s requirements

 

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required: Finance, or Accounting preferred 
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • General financial background and understanding of manufacturing relevant KPIs
  • Affinity to data analytics
  • IT reporting systems like PowerBI
  • Strategic thinking
