Inside Sales Representative

 

Job Summary
The Inside Sales representative is responsible for acting as a liaison between Widia and our customers and distributors. The incumbent assists with complaints, orders, errors, account questions, and is responsible for generating new leads.

 

Key Job Responsibilities
•    Provide appropriate and correct information to incoming customer order status and product knowledge requests.
•    Daily tasks involve: entering customer orders, changes, and quote requests, processing returns, expedite orders, entering scheduling agreements and shipping claims.
•    Partnership with the sales team to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.
•    Generate sales leads for the sales engineers.
•    Provide timely feedback to management regarding challenges or customer concerns.
•    Partnership with the sales team to meet and exceed customer’s service expectations.
•    Listen, document, and help resolve conflicts with customers.
•    Document the patterns and queries that may indicate a larger problem with the product or service that needs to be resolved.
•    A positive attitude, even when faced with misplaced criticism or frustration.
•    The ability to learn quickly and move on from both success and failure.

 

Experience
•    Associate's Degree in relevant field preferred
•    1 or more years of relevant experience or non-degreed with 4 or more years of relevant experience
•    Experience with CRM software
•    Strong organizational skills
•    Highly customer service oriented
•    Strong communication skills
•    Patience in dealing with confused or irate customers.
•    Problem-solving skills, and the ability to think under pressure.
•    Commitment to continual education about the company, products and services.
