Job Title: Product Engineering Intern
Location: Latrobe, PA

Job Description:

- Support Engineering development projects through use of CAD, Finite Element Analysis, calculations, and testing.

- Execute material tests to characterize mechanical properties of materials.

- Perform basic calculations and statistical analysis to validate test results.

- Utilize Finite Element Analysis to develop material models based on test data.

- Assists with the creation and revision of models and drawings utilizing CAD/PLM.
 

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

- Must possess, or be in active pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering -- Preferbaly in either Sophmore, or Junior year

- Understanding of Fatigue Mechanisms of Metals is desirable.

- Basic proficiency in the use of NX or similar CAD software with emphasis to 3D modeling.

- Basic proficiency in structural analysis with ANSYS or similar FEA software.

- Should be competent in basic usage of common Microsoft Office applications, primarily Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
