Sr. Analyst Supply Chain Process

 

 

Kennametal, Inc. is looking for a senior inventory analyst Supply Chain processes to work in Latrobe PA within Global Logistics group to support driving inventory optimization within the corporation. Team member will be expected to partner with Business units and finance ,providing necessary support as it relates to the achieving inventory goals. This role has good visibility, the team member will be interacting with senior management and executives. Gaining experience with, and succeeding in, this role will position the team member to further-advance his or her career with the company. 

 

 

 

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain, Business or Engineering
  2. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  3. Exceptional skills with  Excel, Word, and Access;
  4. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
  5. Familiar with Inventory Planning strategies and techniques
  6. Ambition and potential to advance through the organization
  7. Sound analytical skills
  8. Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skill
  9. Experience with SAP and or Kinaxis a plus but not required

 

Responsibilities

 

  1. Develop, manage and distribute monthly inventory reports for business units
  2. Chair monthly inventory meetings with business units to support achieving inventory goals.
  3. Support business’s by identifying inventory optimization opportunities.
  4. Follow up with business units on actions from monthly meetings
  5. Develop, manage and distribute E&O reports to BU’s
  6. Support BU’s to develop actions to reduce E&O goals
  7. Analyze consignment and contract reports and provide feedback to BU’s
  8. Interact with finance team to ensure alignment on inventory goals.
  9. Support documentation for SOP meetings.
  10. Ad Hoc projects
