Regional Product Specialist

We are looking for a Regional Product Specialist in Italy. In this role you will facilitate the implementation of regional product strategies in support of business segment units as the technical expert and customer advocate.

Having experience in the cutting tools business is essential to be successful on this role.

You will provide regional training and assistance to support customer needs, assess competitive landscape to ensure products meet regional customer needs and attain targeted account growth targets.

You will also assist in the development and execution of marketing materials, promotions and programs.

Our headquarters are located in Milan and some office time will be required.



Provide technical support and training for new Metal Cutting product launches (45%):

  • Assist in the development of product and application training
  • Identify customers and opportunities for new products
  • Success Stories collection and sharing
  • Review translations of marketing collateral

Implement regional product strategies to achieve planned revenue and profitability targets (25%):

  • Push EMEA marketing Enablers and Promotions
  • Identify targeted customers and components
  • Support ACE ideas, teams, sales validation, field trials
  • Support PLCM of Product Platforms

Support portfolio development (15%):

  • Understanding market drivers and competitive landscape
  • Link between Market and Corporation

Deliver external training on current products and other opportunities (KKC) (10%)

Drive continuous improvement related regional budget attainment (5%)



  • Experience in industrial cutting tools, machining processes, and/or advanced wear technology.
  • Must be a collaborator with excellent communication skills with the ability to manage a wide range of simultaneous activities.
  • Fluency in Italian and English is required. German is an advantage.
  • Must have a track record of taking initiative and driving programs to completion.
  • Technical marketing experience of industrial products (business planning, competitive analysis) with a proven track record
  • working in a multi-cultural business environment.
