Furnace Operator

2nd Shift - Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Tasks:

  • Operators will be responsible for the following:
  • Working 100% Safely
  • Read, understand written and oral instructions to prioritize work
  • Control and monitor multiple furnaces and perform other daily duties per instructions and procedures
  • Build, load, and unload furnaces to accommodate production
  • Communicate with peers, Team Lead, and Management on all aspects of the department
  • Drive forklift, use walk behind forklift or pallet jack
  • Prioritize work and troubleshoot problems
  • Completing daily TPM and department cleaning


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required
  • Three - five years of furnace, brazing and heat treating experience is strongly preferred
  • Three - five years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work weekly overtime as needed
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience of computer applications including Microsoft Office and databases is preferred
