Production Operator

1st Shift

Duties and Responsibilities

• Observe all safety rules and wear appropriate PPE.  Report all safety incidents, unsafe acts and conditions.
• Weigh grade poder.
• Load and unload mills.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge Required

• Record Keeping Skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work in a team environment.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to climb 4 ft. Ladder.
• Must be able to use both hands at the same time while pushing, pulling, twisting, bending, lifting, stooping and walking.
• Must be able to work for long periods while standing.
• Must have good eye/hand coordination with all physical movements well-coordinated.

Job Conditions & Hazards

• Moderate Dust.
• Must be able to lift a maximum of 33 pounds.

Education Guidelines

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be able to read, write, perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiply and divide).

Experience Guidelines

Prefer at least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
