Engineer Manufacturing-UK
An excellent opportunity has become available to join Kennametal Manufacturing UK Ltd as Engineer Manufacturing.
The successful candidate will be responsible to Support Maintenance Team with Technical issues, manage CAPEX projects related to Modernisation and Automation and focusing on Process Improvements, Dust Reduction and Energy Reduction.
Key Tasks:
- Manage Annual CAPEX plan, including preparation of Scope of Work, Management of Change, supplier / contractor quotes and preparation of Application for Expenditure (AFE
- Manage Internal Project Plan related to Modernisation Automation and Process Improvements
- Support Maintenance Team with any Technical Production issues to Minimise down time
- Reduce requirement for technical support from External contractors
- To take part in and/or lead process improvement teams, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Provide hands on support to deliver process improvements
Your profile:
- 5 Years’ Experience in Mechanical Engineering
- Educated to HNC level or equivalent e.g. time served apprenticeship
- Ability to problem solve on variety of equipment
- Must work on own initiative and in a team environment in a busy manufacturing
- Project Management
- Able to read and understand technical drawings
- CAD (Computer Aided Design)
Salary
- Competitive salary, £45,000 gross
Hours of work
- Normal working hours, from Monday to Friday
