JOB TITLE: Maintenance Technician

DEPARTMENT: Maintenance                       


A skilled trade position responsible for supporting and maintaining CNC grinders, hydraulic and mechanical presses, pressure and vacuum furnaces, wet and dry media blasters and the facility that encompasses the equipment.  The individual will be interacting alongside plant personnel and independently working installing, troubleshooting, repairing and upgrading mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on a daily basis.

Job requirements

 Minimum 4 years’ experience as a maintenance electrician supported by training from a certified journeyman program, vocational or technical school pertaining to the skill sets listed above.  The job requires frequent walking, climbing of ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for periods up to 12 hours a day. The applicant must be safety-minded and will be required to participate in the Kennametal SCBA and Spill Response program.  The Individual must be flexible and able to work an alternative shift plus overtime to support the business needs.
