Manager Global Talent Development

 

The Manager Global Talent Development partners with key clients and stakeholders to define and build short and long-term Talent Management strategies for the Commercial function. This role involves designing innovative strategies to support the organization in producing a pipeline of qualified talent as well as providing solutions to support ongoing leadership development. The Manager Global Talent Development works closely with multiple stakeholders including HR Business Partners, Commercial and Operational Leaders, and Talent Management teams to develop and implement talent strategies.

  

Responsibilities

 

  • Works across the Commercial global areas of responsibility to establish and execute the Talent Development strategy aligned with the Global and Regional requirements
  • Builds, implements, and enhances talent management processes and programs as succession planning, performance management, calibrations, talent reviews, org design, high-potential leader identification and tracking, change management, culture, engagement and ongoing organizational effectiveness initiatives
  • Promotes and champions a culture of accountability, inclusion and engagement
  • Leads program management of core talent processes; including performance management, talent reviews/succession planning, and employee engagement to ensure consistency, integration and impact of these programs across the Commercial function, coordinating all activities with HR Business Partners
  • Plays a key role in the change management effort for client groups as the company goes through transformation
  • Supports the creation and execution of the workforce development plan for the function.
  • Builds talent pools that support and strengthen the function and creates a framework that provides a clear view of talent supply and demand.
  • Collaborate with Director, Talent to develop programs and initiatives to improve recruitment, development, recognition and retention of a high-performing diverse and inclusive workforce
  • Identifies and utilizes resources to assess current and prospective talent to meet the needs of the business
  • Identifies key roles with bench strength targets, supported by actionable development plans to ensure pipeline readiness
  • Partners with field leadership to identify, recommend and track the completion of appropriate development activities for talent in the early in career, leadership pipeline and invest and grow talent categories
  • Provides development support to leaders to ensure robust development plans are created and implemented. Provides coaching and mentoring to support individual development planning through a variety of tools (assessment, learning, etc.)
  • Partners with Human Resources Partners to provide aligned delivery, seamless communication and excellent customer service
  • Manages and participates in the development of program materials, communication vehicles, presentation and implementation of programs
  • Implements new programs to support the needs of the company utilizing innovative strategies and principles of organizational development

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
  • A minimum of 10 years of broad HR experience, to include Talent Development and/or Management, Leadership Development & Management Training, Performance Management, and designing/implementing/managing multiple complex projects globally
  • Comfortable with a fast pace of change, while ensuring continuity of current activities
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability and willingness to influence and drive change globally
  • Proven ability to establish strategy and to translate it into an effective, long-term action plan
  • Proficiency in all MS Office tools are required
  • Willing and able to travel as required
