Manager Human Resources

Job Summary

Covering plants inside and outside the U.S., the Manager HR Field Services will partner with business/site leaders and associates to provide HR services in a proactive and solution-oriented manner and aligned with the business strategy for assigned client groups and sites.  Candidates need to have specific experience supporting both U.S. and non-U.S. locations

 

Key Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include manpower planning for strategic growth, leadership staffing and development, talent retention and engagement, and change management for several sites. The Manager HR Field Services will drive HR programs and tools to provide and maintain a high performing, developing and engaged workforce with the business leaders. 

 

  • Partner with functional/site leaders on people, organization and business strategy (talent management, development & acquisition, employee engagement and organizational capability).
  • Collaborates with leaders to build and support employee engagement strategies that facilitate organizational performance and enables successful organizational change.
  • Partners with business leaders on retention of key talent. Understands associate needs and facilitates effective communication channels between leaders and associates.
  • Monitor emerging business plans and risks to determine talent implications, provide feedback to key stakeholders and play a strong role in subsequent decision making and organizational alignment.
  • Provide coaching and leadership to sites HR team to ensure the growth and development of the HR team as well as succession for the function.
  • Identify training needs in the organization in conjunction with the HR team. Train associates and managers on various content
  • Develop metrics and scorecard that defines organizational performance and growth.
  • Lead and support change management initiatives across global enterprise.

 

Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of HR experience, with a minimum 2 years experience supporting non U.S. sites and/or business units, and at least 5 years focusing on business partnering, succession planning, engagement, leadership development, diversity, organizational development and coaching.
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant HR experience in a manufacturing environment with safety exposure
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
