The Senior Manager, People & Culture partners with key clients and stakeholders to define and build short and long-term Talent Management and Organizational Effectiveness strategies for the enterprise. This role involves designing innovative strategies to advance strategic talent planning, critical talent identification, talent assessment, succession planning including accelerated development, and performance management. The Senior Manager, Talent works closely with multiple stakeholders including HR Business Partners, Commercial and Operational Leaders, and People & Culture teams to develop and implement talent strategies that strengthen our organizational capability of developing & mobilizing talent.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Works across the enterprise to establish and execute the KMT’s journey internally and externally in building a globally diverse workforce and culture of inclusion
  • Possess a deep understanding of diversity and inclusion best-in-class market practices
  • Works across the enterprise to establish and execute the Talent Development strategy aligned with the Global and Regional requirements
  • Leads program management of core talent processes; including succession planning, performance management, calibration, talent reviews, high-potential leader identification and tracking, culture, and ongoing organizational effectiveness initiatives
  • Provide strategic thought leadership on talent planning, performance management, executive assessments, and succession
  • Possess a deep understanding of organization’s critical talent, shape their accelerated development plans, and track their progress
  • Evolves the design of enterprise talent planning and monitors outcomes in conjunction with the HR Operations team for effectiveness and organizational impact
  • Plans and prepares C-suite and Board-level talent review materials
  • Monitors and manages the health of succession plans and recommend the appropriate course of action to increase bench strength. Identifies key roles with bench strength targets, supported by actionable development plans to ensure pipeline readiness
  • Provides development support to leaders to ensure robust development plans are created and implemented. Provides coaching and mentoring to support individual development planning through a variety of tools (assessment, learning, etc.)
  • Builds talent pools that support and strengthen the functions and creates a framework that provides a clear view of talent supply and demand.
  • Leads and examines current mechanisms research the latest studies in the performance management field, and re-designs best-in-class programs and policies to support that vision.
  • Collaborate with Director, People & Culture to develop programs and initiatives to improve development, recognition, and retention of a high-performing diverse, and inclusive workforce
  • Plays a key role in the change management effort for the company as it goes through a transformation
  • Partners with Human Resources Partners to provide aligned delivery, seamless communication, and excellent customer service
  • Promotes and champions a culture of accountability, inclusion, and engagement
  • Implements new programs to support the needs of the company utilizing innovative strategies and principles of organizational development

 

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
  • A minimum of 10 years of broad HR experience, to include at least 5 years of innovative Talent Development and/or Management, Leadership Development, Performance Management, and designing/implementing/managing multiple complex projects globally
  • Demonstrated success in consulting on and driving innovation and improvement in performance management, organizational development, leadership, goal setting, and talent management
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to challenge existing processes to ensure organizational effectiveness
  • Demonstrates ongoing curiosity and creativity, balanced with the ability to distill numerous inputs/ideas into meaningful actions and recommendations
  • Comfortable with a fast pace of change, while ensuring continuity of current activities
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
  • Ability and willingness to influence and drive change globally
  • Proven ability to establish a strategy and to translate it into an effective, long-term action plan
  • Proficiency in all MS Office tools is required
  • Willing and able to travel as required
