Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Talent Management partners with key clients and stakeholders to define and build short and long-term Talent Management strategies.This role involves designing innovative strategies to support the organization in producing a pipeline of qualified talent as well as providing solutions to support ongoing leadership development. The Senior Manager, Talent works closely with multiple stakeholders including Sr. Global Leaders, HR Business Partners, Commercial and Operational Leaders, and Talent Management teams to develop and implement talent strategies to support the achievement of our Key Results.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Develops strategy for talent management processes, priority setting, leadership development, individual contributor development and organizational talent reviews.
  • Proactively identifies current and future needs and trends, shaping business and competency development to inform the evolution of innovative future talent development, succession planning, and retention solutions for the enterprise.
  • Leads the design, development and implementation of the talent review and succession planning process that is required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of an internal bench of top talent.
  • Provides recommendations to senior leadership regarding the state of leadership talent, including succession plans and talent pools.
  • Works across the global areas of responsibility to establish and execute the Talent Development strategy aligned with the Global and Regional requirements in an effort to mature from replacement planning to succession management for critical roles.
  • Builds, implements, and enhances talent management programs such as mentoring, individual development plans, high-potential leader identification and tracking, engagement and ongoing organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Builds talent pools that support and strengthen the function and creates a framework that provides a clear view of talent supply and demand.
  • Identifies critical roles with bench strength targets, supported by actionable development plans to ensure pipeline readiness.
  • Partners with leadership to identify, recommend and track the completion of appropriate development activities for talent in the early in career and leadership pipeline.
  • Provides development support to leaders to ensure robust development plans are created and implemented.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to support individual development planning through a variety of tools (assessment, learning, etc.)
  • Partners with Human Resources Partners to provide aligned delivery, seamless communication and excellent customer service.
  • Partners with HRIS to lead succession-related system implementations and enhancements using best-in-class practices and philosophies.
  • Stays current on best practices and looks for ways to continuously improve and refine global processes and program while ensuring agility.
  • Plays a key role in the change management effort for client groups as the company goes through transformation




  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business or related field.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in HR-related functions that include succession, talent review, and leadership development
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience of transforming large organizations with a with a focus on Talent Management
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal direction from manager.
  • Demonstrated orientation to understanding the business and business strategy, and the ability to implement talent management process, tools, data, and initiatives to support strategic business objectives leveraging change management principles
  • Demonstrated personal drive and sense of urgency pushing self and others for results; delivers on results despite obstacles.
  • Proven coaching and influence skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation development and facilitation skills
