Digital Product Owner, Sales Enablement - Poland

 

A great opportunity has opened in Kennametal Poland.

We are seeking a Sales Enablement Product Owner (EMEA) to help lead high-impact projects to empower and support Kennametal’s sales team. This role is a unique opportunity to drive the execution of business-critical projects for an iconic brand looking to expand its global eCommerce reach.

 

The Sales Enablement Product Owner will focus on making it easy for our sales team to reach, research, compare and purchase products. This includes an intuitive user experience across sales tools, mobile apps, CRM data integrations, and marketing automation. The Product Owner will become the point person to support our sales enablement digital development needs. The Product Owner is the business representative on the scrum team and translates our customer’s needs into a product vision and roadmap. They are responsible for ensuring the scrum team effort is concentrated on the right priorities based on business value.

 

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Create, own, and communicate product vision, product goal, roadmap and release plan, drives towards goal.
  • Continuously learn about customer needs and roadblocks and develop solutions that lead to customer success.
  • Work with internal and external customers to analyze customer needs, internal constraints, cost-benefit, and develop product roadmap.
  • Develop scope and define backlog items (epics/features/user stories) that guide the scrum development team.
  • Research and analyze market, competitors, and best-in-class peer companies.
  • Refine backlog and prioritize backlog items based on business objectives, partner seamlessly with development team to ensure execution.
  • Be key stakeholder throughout each scrum event, including planning, refinement, review, and sprint.
  • Be ambassador for the product internally and externally and own the return on investment.
  • Increase an understanding of Agile practices, Design Thinking, new technologies opportunities and other new trends.

 

Skills and requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Complete Fluency in English
  • 3-5 years of experience as a product owner supporting a website with at least $100M USD annual revenue
  • Expert in agile & scrum principles for website development
  • Experience using JIRA
  • Experience with sales tools such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Dunn & Bradstreet, Genesys
  • Experience with SAP Hybris, Adobe AEM, Adobe Analytics – an advantage
  • Experience with using the design thinking methodology to understand customers and rapidly prototype solutions to their needs – an advantage
  • Able to navigate in a fast paced, iterative environment
  • Ability to work with cross-functional and global teams to deliver on a common goal
  • Ability to think strategically, properly prioritize work to ensure the best business results, and to drive and own decision making
  • Interpersonal skills and developing relationships with team members and customers
