Payroll Analyst with German


An excellent opportunity has become available to join Kennametal as a Payroll expert in our shared services office in Poznan.

We are looking for a candidate with German language skills and experience with German payroll, knowledge of German social security and taxation.



Key responsibilities include but not limited to:


  • Delivering timely and accurate payroll services, ensuring that timelines are met per schedule and finance and audit requests are addressed promptly
  • Performing root-cause investigation using performance data, identify performance gaps to define any issues and inform of operations improvements
  • Reporting: Produce ad hoc reports, create, and schedule regular standard report delivery to business, conduct and improve reporting to ensure reliability, validity and integrity of the data used in management reporting and investigation. Ensure manual reports are stored and are well-organized
  • Adding value: Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests while exploring opportunities to add value to services. Suggest process improvements that can streamline and improve customer service
  • Deliver outstanding customer service daily to both external and internal customers





  • Fluent in German and communicative in English
  • At least 3 years’ experience working in German Payroll
  • Knowledge of German tax and social security legislation
  • Ability to work with liberty and within respect of deadlines
  • Must be able to work well with internal and external teams in a collaborative, diverse, international and fast paced environment
  • Detail-oriented and organized with good inquiring and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working with various HR Systems and proficiency with PC applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
