Job Title: Project Manager

Job Location: Bangalore

Job Summary:

Kennametal is looking for a Scrum Master, who will help drive the success of key Kennametal digital marketing and ecommerce initiatives. This individual will be part of the team that designs and develops the Digital Customer Experience platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with development teams and product owners to help ensure execution alignment for Scrum teams.
• Facilitate Agile Scrum team execution and feature completion tracking for multiple Scrum teams.
• Arrange and facilitate daily stand-up meetings and demos/retrospectives. Ensure quick inspection and proper use of an Agile process.
• Encourage and guide the adoption of Agile policies and procedures.
• Provide coaching on Agile practices and methods for assigned as well as other Scrum teams.
• Ensure the work implemented by teams adheres to defined steps and procedures.
• Act as a servant leader for multiple teams and their stakeholders.
• Lead the scrum team in using Agile methodology and scrum practices.
• Lead the scrum and development teams in self-organization.
• Remove impediments and coach the scrum team on removing impediments.
• Help the scrum and development teams to identify and fill in blanks in the Agile framework.
• Help the scrum team achieve higher levels of scrum maturity.
• Support the product owner and provide education where needed.

Scrum Master Qualifications:

• 5+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master.
• 10+ years’ experience leading technical and non-technical teams in an Agile environment.
• Experience in managing at least two Scrum Teams.
• Understanding of ITIL framework.
• Strong collaborator and servant leader.
• Certified Scrum Professional (CSP).
• Proven ability to develop business relationships and communicate successfully with people at all levels of management; exhibit excellent interpersonal and diplomacy skills.
• Proficient with managing program / project level initiatives.
• Must be extremely responsive, with a strong sense of urgency and a positive attitude.
• Experience with successful Agile techniques
• Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
• Demonstrated technical acumen as a project management leader.
