Sales Engineer - Wear Components

 

As our new Sales Engineer Wear Component France, you will be responsible for the support and development of our French customers. You will support and develop our existing customers and win new customers. Ideally, you have in-depth industry knowledge and are used to negotiating with decision-makers at all levels. As an experienced networker you enjoy contact with your business partners and offer them the best possible solution for their applications.

 

Your tasks:

- Expansion and development of our customer base in France

- Preparation of forecasts and sales plans for individual territories and implementation of the corresponding measures

- Generation of new business, OEM’s, and end customers

- Supervision of trials / tool tests, as well as tool selection based on requirements and test results

- Coordination of technical inquiries between internal sales and end customers

- Actively work with customers in the sales territory to achieve maximum presence of Kennametal products in the markets

 

Your profile:

- Several years of professional experience in a sales position (production, manufacturing or chemical environments) are mandatory

- Specific experience in the field of wear and tear mechanisms and a personal network are a great advantage

- Fluent French and very good English skills are required - other languages are a big plus

- Good user skills in MS Office and a CRM system are required

- Willingness to travel is required
