Job Title: Senior Sales Engineer

Geographic coverage: East and North China

Location: Shanghai

 

Job Summary  

This sales position works from office or home base office in Shanghai vicinity and under the supervision of the sales manager Asia, and the functional directions of the Ceramic sales team. Intensive co-ordinations with manufacturing and supply chain, and CSR at our Shanghai based manufacturing is required.

Sales goals are set for annual plan as well as growth initiatives. Weekly and monthly progress to be reviewed with the supervisor and management. Year-round will be tracked by PPM.

 

 

Key Job Responsibilities 

  • Market exploration including new opportunities to accomplish sales target
  • Handling pre-sales technical questions & consultations from customers, quotations, as well as after sales service
  • Coordinate and conduct product trials with customers
  • Prepare annual sales forecast and budget with regular update reports

 

Education, Work Experience, Skills, Certificates Required

  • Bachelor degree in Material science/Metallurgy/ Ceramics engineering/Chemical engineering /Electrical or Mechanical engineering, or related discipline with strong technical sense.
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in which 4 years in sales is required.
  • Experience in polymer film manufacturing, flexible packaging and Vacuum web coating industries would be an advantage.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Mandarin
  • Sales directive. Self-initiative, well-organized, team player and good interpersonal skills
  • Can and willing to spend minimum 50% of time in travelling and customer contacts.
  • Driving license is required to be able to visit customers within the region.
