Join our growing team in Kennametal, Industrial Business Group, as a Channel Sales Manager – South Asia to be based in Singapore.

Key Tasks:

  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve commercial excellence with channel partners across South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
  • Develop sales plan, quota structure and performance measurement process to align with the annual business plan.
  • Grow profitability with the current and new distribution partners. 
  • Build strong relationship with distributors and end-customers.

Key Qualifications:

  • University or bachelor’s degree, advanced or Master’s degree preferred (Engineering background, preference)
  • At least 10+ years of overall industrial sales experience with minimum 2 years of operating experience at regional leadership level. Industry preference: machinery and/or mechanical engineering.
  • 3-5 years regional exposure managing South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand would be of preference. Team management experience is an advantage.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English and Mandarin language. Malay/ Indonesia Bahasa language, preferred.
  • Excellent in doing both direct and indirect sales; especially channel partner sales management.
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills. Able to lead effectively in a complex and matrix environment and deliver results
  • Able to understand technical products, systems, and solutions to thoughtfully develop winning commercial strategies.
  • Multiskilled in cross functional environment, strong learning agility & conflict resolution skills.
  • Possess own transport and should be comfortable at usual travel. Geographic mobility.
